A Simple Pivot

Today, I want to remind you of the incredible power that lies within a simple pivot.

Life has a funny way of throwing unexpected challenges our way. Sometimes, it may feel like we're stuck in a rut or facing a complete dead-end. But here's the beautiful truth: we can always pivot.

A pivot is like a strategic shift in direction. It's about recognizing when something isn't working and having the courage to make a change. It doesn't have to be a grand, sweeping transformation... even a little tweak can make a HUGE impact.

When you embrace the power of a pivot, you open yourself up to new possibilities and opportunities. You break free from the chains of stagnation and create space for growth, progress, and real change.

It's about being adaptable, flexible, and open-minded.

It's about not giving up, taking another look, and moving forward No Matter What!

I Believe In You!

Thank so much you Dave! This is exactly how I feel "stuck". I think can be a good way to take a step back.

Thanx!

Galinka

@Galina Psibilskiene A wide angle is a very powerful perspective.

@david wolfe I say YES and really want to have a broad view of life! In what way can I develop it, what can help me think more broadly. How can I free myself from the metal suit holding me tight...

@Galina Psibilskiene Practice... can you begin to notice yourself when you are feeling trapped? If you can you may be able to work yourself backwards? Have a list of things you can do when you do get into your close-mindedness too

@david wolfe Yes I trapped and I think I know where- in my  "father" I just see all his qualities in me. And it drives me crazy! I hate them I don't want it!

Traits that destroyed and destroy my life his authority, inability to adapt, inability to forgive, stone heart, stone face, not accepting other people, not accepting other culture (accept only people from Belarus), all time blaming on everything, very negative thinking, difficult to compromise, living "cage life" "cage thinking", inability to think broad, inability to show feelings, emotional deprivation, a hitler at home.

What can make me feel better now? Gentle music, calms the nervous system and please the soul. I forgive him.

Thank you Dave.

@Galina Psibilskiene I always assume that everyone is really doing there best, but we can get into a real struggle with it, but we find that acceptance is the easier way.

@david wolfe thank you Dave. So with way do you have to use in you recovery? I guess not acceptans? In some way for me sounds like if I accept my disease I allow to be a sick. I accept. Stuck in life.

How do you feel when you do you best?

I believe I did a pivot. Wahoo!  I faced the problem, I proceeded with my plan, I accepted the results.  Now I need to commit daily.  Thank you for giving us so many different ways to look at things and grace to know we are OK just as we are; where we are; ODAAT.

@david wolfe "If I'm honest..." prompt.  I think that got me to face my truth once and for all.

@Carol Hebl The way the questions/prompt is posed helps us get through our denial in a powerful way
